Direct way read from phone and send log to server (you cant see any file in this case, software read, send and write file back to phone automatically)
That way is used when unlock Panasonic X60 for example.

Read log from phone, save, send and receive from server manually.
In this case you need to read log from phone, save it to your HDD, start proper Griffin Team software for that operation and send log to server.
In some case log file will be back to you in real time (DCT4 ASK to RPL service) but in some case you need to wait and check later for log file (BB5 ASK to RPL service).
After you receive log file back you need to write it to phone.

Authorize way. In that way Griffin server will be used to give you access to some specific services in software.
This way is used when write RPL on BB5 phones or when unlock SonyEricsson K320 phone for example.
